Singing sensation Martha Joy, who recently released her self-titled debut album under Viva Records, performs in a special show at Resorts World Manila this Sunday, Oct. 4 at 9pm. A top ten finalist of the “2007 Canadian Idol,” the Viva talent promises to deliver a night of music and world-class entertainment for a venue now known for showcasing first-rate acts.
A repertoire of classical crossover, R&B, and pop is expected from Martha Joy who is vocally trained by the best coaches in Toronto, Canada. She did her first concert in Nov. 2007 at the Toronto Centre for the Arts and signed with Viva Records last year.
Of mixed and Latin parentage, the 18-year-old singer is fast-becoming a favorite among live audiences especially that she can sing in various languages inluding Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. Her first single "Dumating Ka.”
Said venue is home to some of the rising world-class stars in the country, including half-Asian, half-European Eurasia which performs every Friday and Saturday nights. The visually appealing group, the latest from the roster of Viva talents and which has now gained its own following, is composed of Lana, Kelly, Sara, Gail, and Kristine.
Resorts World Manila is the latest destination in town located across from NAIA 3.
