Cristine Reyes is Trapped on The Roof of Her Marikina Home Due to Flood

Kapamilya star Cristine Reyes is trapped on the roof of her home in Provident Village Marikina City due to the flood following the downpour from tropical storm Ondoy.

Cristine is so worried about the condition they are in right now and tearfully appealed for rescue teams to help them.

"Sana may dumating na rescue kasi kanina pa kami dito ng 1 p.m. Kapag hindi pa tumigil ang ulan aabutin na kami sa roof. Hindi ko alam anong gagawin namin."

Cristine also said that the flood already reached the second floor of their house, forcing them to move to the roof.

"Lagpas na ng puno. Nakarating na siya sa second floor. Pinasok na yung mga rooms namin, so konti na lang, dito na siya sa roof," Cristine said.

Reyes fears for the safety of her family as flood waters continue to rise because of incessant rains brought by the typhoon.

"Mommy ko kasi, hindi marunong mag swim at may kasama akong dalawang bata."

On the roof with the actress are her mother, a sibling, two children, household helpers and some neighbors.

"Mommy ko, pamangkin ko--dalawang bata--isang five years old at isang three years old. Tapos yung bunso namin, yung PA ko, yung maid namin, tapos driver tapos yung kapitbahay namin pumunta na dito sa roof namin kasi mataas yung house naming," she said.

Kris Allen: Live Like We’re Dying

American Idol champ Kris Allen has released his new single “Live Like We’re Dying,” off his not-yet-titled album (out November 17).

Kris Allen: Live Like We’re Dying - Video:

Kris Allen: Live Like We’re Dying - Lyrics:

Sometimes we fall down and can’t get back up
We’re hiding behind skin that’s too tough
How come we don’t say I love you enough
Till it’s too late, it’s not too late

Our hearts are hungry for a food that won’t come
We could make a feast from these crumbs
And we’re all staring down the barrel of a gun
So if your life flashed before you, what would you wish you would’ve done

[Chorus]
Yeah, gotta start
Looking at the hand of the time we’ve been given here
This is all we got and we gotta start thinkin’ it
Every second counts on a clock that’s tickin’
Gotta live like we’re dying
We only got 86 400 seconds in a day
To turn it all around or throw it all away
We gotta tell ‘em that we love ‘em while we got the chance to say,
Gotta live like we’re dying

And if you plane fell out of the skies
Who would you call with your last goodbyes
Should be so careful who we live out of our lives
So when we long for absolution, there’ll be no one on the line

(Chorus)

Like we’re dying (x4)

(Chorus)

You never know a good thing until it’s gone
you never see a crash until its head on
All these people right when we’re dead wrong,
You never know a good thing till it’s gone

(Chorus)

Like we’re dying (x4)

(Chorus)

Taylor Swift and Kanye West

Kany
Taylor Swift and Kanye Weste West is really the talk of the town, even Barack Obama paid attention, too bad it's a negative way. If you're living under the rock this past few days, Kanye stole the mic from country singer, Taylor Swift & said that Beyonce Knowles deserved the 'Best Female Video' award in the recently concluded 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

Kanye West should really apologize to Taylor Swift quick, I mean a real one. Maybe he should seek some help from Pickup Artist Site, it is a social network for Pickup Artists, a place on the web where you and your like-minded men and women friends can form groups, network, plan events, and keep up with the latest trends.

Graded "B" by the Cinema Evaluation Board, "In My Life" is being shown in 180 theaters nationwide.

Obama Caught On Tape Calling Kanye West a "Jackass"

President Obama has weighed in on Kanye West’s tirade at the MTV Video Music Awards, and not just in this hilarious mash-up of the president’s recent speech to Congress.

In real life, TMZ caught Obama on tape calling West a “jackass” during an interview with CNBC. The only problem: the president was apparently speaking candidly in an off-the-record portion of the interview, which ABC newsman Terry Moran also then re-broadcast to his more than one million followers on Twitter.

"Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a 'jackass' for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential," Moran wrote.

It was unclear whether Moran overheard Obama’s West-bashing quote or got it from a portion of transcripts that went out to other reporters.

Hollywood Actor Patrick Swayze Dies at Age 57

People Magazine's 1991 Sexiest Man Alive and Hollywood actor Patrick Swayze died of pancreatic cancer on September 14, 2009.

He was diagnosed with the disease in March of 2008. Despite having cancer, he continued working, finishing 13 episodes of the TV drama The Beast. He refused to take painkillers as this, he said, would have taken the edge off his performances.

His publicist Annett Wolf said Patrick died peacefully with his family by his side in Los Angeles.

Patrick started his career in Hollywood in the roller-skate disco movie Skatetown USA (1979) and best known for his roles as the sexy rebel Johnny Castle in Dirty Dancing (1987) and loving partner Sam Wheat to Demi Moore's Molly Jensen in the worldwide blockbuster Ghost (1990).

Kanye West on VMA Outburst: ‘I’m Ashamed’

Kanye West admits he’s “ashamed” he stormed the stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards.

In an interview on Jay Leno’s first primetime show on NBC Monday night, West blamed the pain from his mother’s 2007 death for causing him to grab the mic from Swift, 19, as she accepted her Best Female Video award.

“And you know, so many celebrities, they never take time off. I’ve never taken the time off to really — you know, just music after music and tour after tour,” Kanye said.

“I’m just ashamed that my hurt caused someone else’s hurt — and I don’t try to justify it because I was just in the wrong. That’s period.

“But I need to, after this, take some time off and just analyze how I’m going to make it through the rest of this life, how I’m going to improve. Because I am a celebrity, and that’s something I have to deal with.

“And if there’s anything I could do to help Taylor in the future or help anyone, I’d like — you know, I want to live this thing. It’s hard sometimes.”

When Leno asked West if his mom, Donda, who died from plastic surgery complications, would have been disappointed in his behavior, he admitted, “Yeah.”

“Just dealing with the fact that I hurt someone or took anything away, you know, from a talented artist or from anyone, because I only wanted to help people,” West added. “My entire life, I’ve only wanted to give and do something that I felt was right. And I immediately knew in the situation that it was wrong, and it wasn’t a spectacle or just — you know, it’s actually someone’s emotions, you know, that I stepped on. And it was very — it was just — it was rude, period.

“And, you know, I’d like to be able to apologize to her in person. And I wanted to….”

Taylor Swift ‘Almost Cried’ Over Kanye West Outburst

Taylor Swift went backstage and almost burst into tears after Kanye West hijacked her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday.

As Taylor was giving her acceptance speech (she picked up the Best Female Video accolade for You Belong To Me), Kanye — who had earlier been pictured drinking Hennessy on the red carpet — grabbed the microphone and called Beyonce’s video for Single Ladies “one of the greatest of all time”.

According to Us Weekly, Taylor got “teary” after the incident.

It has also been claimed that right after Kanye’s outburst, VMA producers “kicked him out.”

“Security was told not to let him back in,” a source said. “While Beyonce was backstage, getting ready for her performance, she told the producers that if she won anything that should wanted to give Taylor the opportunity to finally give her acceptance speech – uninterrupted.”

Swift, 19, has already spoken out about the incident, saying, “I was standing on stage and I was really excited because I’d just won the award and then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn’t excited anymore after that.

“I don’t want to start anything. I had a great day. I’ve been sent so many text messages and everyone’s been really nice. I’ve had a really, really fun night.”

Bianca Gonzales: The girl next door

Bianca Gonzales: The girl next door

Long after PBB Celebrity Edition went off the air, Bianca still finds herself being judged by other people for what they saw on television. “I’m still struggling,” says the 23-year-old Bianca. “As much as I’d like to think na people have accepted how things turned out for me paglabas ko, siyempre marami pa ding tao who have their own opinion, and I respect that. Except na, ’yon nga, mahirap. It’s not over yet. My struggle is not yet over. But my frame of mind is really, I’m just so young. I have so much to learn pa. And if I’m down now, like they say, parang gulong lang yan, e. Minsan nasa ’baba ka, minsan nasa taas ka. So it’s an emotional roller coaster talaga. I can say na I make the most out of everything that comes my way. Kahit papa’no, you have to be thankful na God cares a lot. Pinapadalhan ka niya ng trials na no one doubts naman you’ll get through. Di ba?” (YES! January 2007 issue)

“Ever since high school, ako ’yong nagsusulat ng every play, every video no’ng class namin,” she explains. “’Yon talaga ’yong hilig ko. I was never the muse, I was never the popular girl sa barkada. Hindi talaga.”

But now Bianca Gonzalez faces the camera almost daily as co-host of three shows—the morning magazine show Breakfast (Studio 23, Mondays to Fridays), the reality show Pinoy Big Brother (Channel 2, Mondays to Fridays), and the youth-oriented evening talk show Y Speak (Studio 23, Sundays).

A mass communication graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, Bianca had already modeled for television and magazines when she landed a job with ABS-CBN’s Creative Development Group. “I was supposed to be a writer for this show on Studio 23,” she recalls. “Isa sa mga hosts dapat namin, si Drew Arellano.”

The show didn’t get off the ground. Instead, Bianca found herself signing up with Boy Abunda’s talent management company, with Jet Valle as her handler. Boy and Jet also have Drew under their wing.

“Jet saw me on the cover of Candy magazine, and he asked me kung willing ako to meet with the PinkSoda people because they needed a new image model. And since they manage talents, he asked me kung gusto ko bang mag-artista? Gusto ko bang umarte? E, I don’t act, I don’t sing.”

Bianca told Jet she preferred to follow in the footsteps of her elder brother, JC Gonzalez, who used to co-host Breakfast and Team Explorer on Studio 23.

Her first hosting job was for ABC-5’s short-lived Game Channel, opposite another newbie, Iya Villania. ABS-CBN’s Cinema One: Review Night followed. “That’s where I first got to work with Ryan Agoncillo. So parang sobrang perfect timing talaga, everything!”

Early this year, the opportunity arose for her to join Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition. She had initial misgivings: “Kakayanin ko bang malayo sa family ko?” But her family—and her then-boyfriend, TV director Lino Cayetano—proved supportive. “Basically, they said whatever I decide, they’ll support me all the way.”

Inside the Bahay ni Kuya, Bianca became especially close to Bench model Zanjoe Marudo. Their closeness did not go unnoticed, and soon a Zanjoe-Bianca fan base rose.

Then came the fallout. After PBB (she placed third in the show’s grand finale), she was fodder for tabloid gossip. She was labeled a playgirl, a two-timer. The devastated Bianca worked hard to regain Lino’s trust, not to mention working hard to wrest back her reputation as a nice girl. And she bounced back. She came out of the experience a stronger person—and a really busy one.

“Paglabas ko, ang dami na talagang jobs waiting for me. I owe a lot din siyempre to the exposure in Big Brother.”

But she’s still saying no to acting.

“It’s so hard! I don’t act talaga. My handlers keep on telling me lang, ‘Malay mo, years from now you’ll say yes. Si Ryan Agoncillo, lagi nga akong inaasar. Sabi niya, ‘Sabi ko din ’yan dati! Tingnan mo ako ngayon!’ I don’t know. Pero as of now, no pa!”

Dingdong Dantes explains snubbing incident between Rhian Ramos and Marian Rivera

DINGDONG Dantes admits he feels some pressure in topbilling “Stairway to Heaven.” “First of all, the original Korean version was very successful so it’d be a tough act to follow,” he says. “Then I have a new partner, Rhian Ramos, and we’re hoping viewers will accept our tandem. The material itself is not that easy to do. Physically, it’s not that demanding but emotionally, it can be draining sa dami ng dramatic scenes.”

How does he feel that Marian Rivera’s name is being dragged in the show’s promo, with some writers saying they had a lovers’ quarrel as Marian is jealous of Rhian?

“It’s really sad na kailangang haluan ng ganyang intriga. Siguro hindi maiiwasan but I think sa umpisa lang ‘yan kasi later, people will see Rhian and I just have a working relationship as Jodi and Cholo, wala nang iba. Hindi kami kailangang i-link sa isa’t isa.

When Rhian nga and I guested in ‘Show Me Da Manny’, I personally saw na nagbatian sila ni Marian, tapos nasulat nang nag-isnaban daw sila at umiyak daw si Marian sa selos kaya nag-away kami, which is not true. She knows there’s no reason para magselos siya. Both Marian and Rhian are respectable people, sana tigilan na yan.”

How is it working with Rhian? “She’s good. First taping day pa lang, I already saw the character of Jodi in her. Pagdating niya sa set, si Jodi na siya. The workshops we did together help a lot kaya positive ang vibes.”

Doesn’t he somehow feel insecure that Marian’s “Darna” is rating 40 plus percent? “Actually, I’m proud of her. Mas lalo nga akong bumilib sa kanya, sa ganda niya, sa talent niya. She deserves the success she’s getting.”

“Stairway to Heaven” will be shown right after “Darna” and after it comes “Rosalinda.” This new GMA sked starts this Monday.

Beyonce's VMA-Nominated 'Single Ladies' Video Began As An Afterthought

The most amazing thing about Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" video isn't the dancing, the leotards, the mesmerizing movement of the Queen B's hips or the set's eerie minimalism (though, all of those things are pretty epic). No, what's most amazing is that it was never meant to be a hit at all.

Seems "Single Ladies" — which is nominated for nine Moonmen at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, including Video of the Year — was basically an afterthought. Director Jake Nava got around to it only after wrapping production on "If I Were a Boy," a higher-gloss, higher-profile video that was originally intended to be the main attraction of B's first two I Am ... Sasha Fierce singles.

"The video was shot back-to-back with 'If I Were a Boy' in New York City, but as soon as we finished the edit, I realized it was special," Nava wrote to MTV News in an e-mail. "I don't think any of us predicted the amount of parodies it would attract. It's a testament to Beyoncé's mind-boggling talent and to the fact that sometimes, less really can be more."

Nava isn't kidding. Unlike any other VMA-nominated clip, "Single Ladies" exudes a lo-fi, sorta-DIY charm. In a lot of ways, it appears like it was custom-made for the YouTube generation, which probably explains why making homages became a worldwide phenomenon. Justin Timberlake and Joe Jonas donned black leotards for much-publicized parody versions. Barack Obama mimicked B's hand moves during his inauguration weekend. And online, everyone from portly gentlemen to precocious toddlers put a ring on it.

A lot of that can be attributed to the song — which, if you ask us, is pretty great — and BeyoncĂ©'s moves, we'd be remiss if we didn't give some props to Nava's team too. From the purposely long takes and the deft edits to the now-classic choreography and the hyper-glam styling, "Single Ladies" is very much a technical accomplishment that looks deceptively simple to the casual observer.

"Although I wanted the video to feel like it was one continuous take, on the shoot day we decided to split the song into three parts. I deliberately let the shots be long so viewers would connect with the human endeavor of Beyoncé's awe-inspiring dance, which was inspired by an old-school Bob Fosse routine," Nava wrote. "The styling was inspired by a Vogue photo shoot. All the changes in look and lighting were executed 'in camera,' because I wanted to keep the feel very organic and ungimmicky."
It's hard to believe that all the action of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards can possibly be contained in just a few hours of prime time — especially considering that the first half hour alone will feature a hotly anticipated performance from Lady Gaga, another from Taylor Swift, a show-opening tribute to Michael Jackson featuring sister Janet Jackson, plus appearances from Eminem, Pete Wentz, Justin Bieber, Jack Black, Shakira, "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner and Kristin Cavallari.

A year after he needled the Jonas Brothers, Madonna and then-President George W. Bush, host Russell Brand has promised a kinder, gentler hosting stint for his second go 'round. This time, he's promised, it's all about the love — we'll see!

The action will take place at the historic Radio City Music Hall, on an enormous stage, where the show will kick off with a tribute to the late Michael Jackson hosted by sister and VMA royalty Janet. The tip of the fedora to the musical legend who passed away in June will feature dancing from a group of renowned choreographers including Dave Scott, Cris Judd, Brian Friedman, Wade Robson, Tyce Diorio, Travis Payne, Jeri Slaughter, Laurie Ann Gibson, Mia Michaels and Tina Landon, who collectively have worked with Janet, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, 'NSYNC, Celine Dion, Prince and MJ himself.

The stage itself, festooned with towering video screens and a series of West Side Story-inspired scaffolding, will play host over the course of the night to performances by Beyoncé Green Day, Pink, and Jay-Z with Alicia Keys; there will also be performances from Taylor Swift and Muse.

When it comes to the elusive, fashion fast forward Gaga, though, no one will even tell us just what her performance will be like, though good pal Perez Hilton has promised it will be "next level" and VMA Creative Director Lee Lodge predicted it would be a "classic VMA performance" that he compared to Madonna's iconic set piece from 1984.

And the excitement won't just be happening at Radio City. "Twilight" star Ashley Greene will be our VMA Fashion Correspondent, iJustine will serve as the official Twitter correspondent, and Kim Stolz will help Fefe Dobson get her outfit together for the big night. And Justin Bieber has promised to shout-out the winner of his biggest-fan contest during the preshow.

This year's VMA house band will be rocking thanks to rapper Wale, who will be leading the funky go-go band UCB all night, with some help from Solange Knowles, Kid Cudi, 3OH!3 and Pitbull. And there will also be the premiere of the trailer for the eagerly-anticipated Michael Jackson documentary, "This Is It," as well as a first look at the extended trailer from the second installment of the "Twilight" vampire franchise, "New Moon" — check out a sneak peek here!

All that in just a few hours? The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards promises to be one for the record books!
Picture it: you, Britney Spears, a sweaty sauna, and nothing else between you. Like the body-hugging sparkly catsuit in "Toxic" that got tongues wagging, veteran video director Joseph Kahn knew the sight of Britney lounging in a sauna in the "Womanizer" clip would set off a buzz bomb.

Mission accomplished. Like his work on Eminem's "We Made You," which is also nominated for Video of the Year at Sunday's 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, "Womanizer" was the first clip from a crucial comeback album for Britney and Kahn was behind the camera to make sure it went smoothly.

As Kahn has said, he approached "Womanizer" not so much as a sequel to "Toxic," but as an answer to that clip. "I had no idea what the song was going to be, so I had no ideas when I met her about what we would do," said Kahn. "She had a basis of an idea to make a 'Toxic 2.' There are things she's really good at, like having a really natural knack for knowing what girls want."

While his previous collaborations with Spears on "Toxic" had a revenge-on-a-boy scenario, and "Stronger" bore an empowerment message, in "Womanizer" Britney was interested in exploring what her man was doing when he was cheating on her by showing up in different tempting outfits. "It's just a great girl fantasy," Kahn said of the concept for the video, in which Spears portrays a handful of forceful, hyperstylized characters. "The problem was we only had two days to shoot it and it involved multiple costume changes, multiple locations and Britney could only work 12 hours a day."

That meant Kahn had to hustle even more than usual, so he said he was, literally, running around the Los Angeles sets like a maniac, plotting out every second of the shoot like an Army lieutenant.

Although the hectic schedule was a white-knuckle grind, Kahn admitted that one aspect of the shoot was no hassle at all. "That was definitely an interesting thing to bring up," he said of his suggestion to Spears that they film a scenario in which she (barely) covers her naked, sweaty body with just her hands while lounging in a sauna. "I knew that the whole world would be watching, so I wanted something in there that stated, 'This is Britney, this is why you should respect her.' "

Despite the idea of seeking respect through nudity seeming counterintuitive, Kahn explained that he was so angry about how Spears had been attacked over the previous years for her yo-yo-ing weight that he wanted to quash all that talk by ... well, in his own words, "If she was a car with a paint job, I was going to show off the paint job. It was a way for her to gain back her body and smash all those shallow jokes."

As with "Toxic," Kahn had to clear everyone off the set when the time came to shoot the scene, leaving just him and Britney alone for two hours. "We worked together on each costume in the video and we went into a costuming session where she played dress-up for a while," he said, explaining the different sexy looks Britney shows off in the video. "She walks out in different outfits and I'm like, 'Let's try the striped shirt.' I'm sitting there thinking, 'I can't believe they pay me for this. I probably have the best job in the world!' Even Obama would want my job."

Green Day Hope Lady Gaga Survives Their Fiery VMA Performance

NEW YORK -- Green Day don't want to give away too much about their performance on Sunday night's Video Music Awards, but there is one tidbit they will share with us: Expect fire.

"If there's something that's flammable, and we're around it, we're probably going to light it on fire," drummer Tre Cool laughed.

"I just hope that Lady Gaga's hair doesn't catch on fire," frontman Billie Joe Armstrong added.

So Gaga, beware: On Sunday, Green Day will be packing plenty of pyro. It's gonna be a little bit dangerous, but for the guys in Green Day -- who have performed at three previous VMAs -- it's just par for the course. They rocked through a snotty version of "Armitage Shanks" at the '94 awards, appeared live via satellite in 1995 (a performance shot on "Spit Cam" after Armstrong encouraged fans to hock loogies on the cameras), then, in 2005, tore through "Boulevard of Broken Dreams." And that's not even mentioning the time Cool decided to climb the Universal Studios globe at the '98 awards. To them, the show has always been about taking risks and, if possible, setting things on fire.

"It's always a good time. It's kind of a melee," bassist Mike Dirnt said. "You never know what's going to happen. A little bit of good, a little bit of bad, a little bit of ugly."

So on Sunday night, while they're busy terrifying the NYC fire marshal, Green Day will also take a moment to look back on how far they've come. To them, the 2009 VMAs are as much about the past as they are the future.

"It's interesting, because we've come full circle. I think the first time we did the VMAs, the stage rotated with the Beastie Boys," Armstrong said. "And, you know, Michael Jackson, Lisa Marie, when they were married for a week, and he said, 'They said this wouldn't last.' And we were like, 'It's only been a week.' And then we did the one in L.A., and one in Miami and now we're back here at Radio City, so, it's cool."

Hellboy 3 Movie

Guillermo del Toro (director of Hellboy series) is really attached to the Hellboy movie seWatch Hellboy 3 Movie Videories. He pushed for the first sequel to happen, and is naturally already thinking about Hellboy 3 movie.

He has already expressed interest in returning to Mike Mignola’s Hellboy franchise when his busy schedule clears up. Here below his response about the rumored Hellboy 3 movie:

"Don’t tell my family, but I would love to do Hellboy 3 consecutive to the Hobbit. The first movie was 2004, the second movie is 2008 so if the third movie is 2012, 2013, it’s not that far off."

.Selena Gomez

Gomez, 17, recently revealed she hooked up with Twilight star Taylor Lautner earlier this year in Vancouver while he was shooting New Moon and she was filming Ramona and Beezus.

Kristen Stewart was staying in my hotel. He would visit her, so we were constantly running into each other in the lobby — and we ended up meeting,” she recalled. “We would go out to lunch and dinner, but I knew he had paparazzi following him and I had paparazzi following me. So we literally just wanted to hang out, go bowling and stuff, and it went a little too far, I think. People were getting a little crazy about us.”

“But it was fun — I went to Vancouver thinking I was going to focus on my work, but instead I got to meet him, and it ended up being the best thing ever,” she adds.

“He is so sweet. Taylor has made me so happy. I didn’t know I could be that happy. You probably see it in the pictures! I’m smiling so big.”

Elton John Wants to Adopt

Elton John wants to adopt a Ukrainian child.

The Rocket Man hitmaker — who married partner David Furnish in 2005 — was visiting Ukraine as part of his work with his AIDS charity foundation.

“David and I have always talked about adoption,” the 62-year-old music legend told Reuters. “David always wanted to adopt a child and I always said, ‘No’, because I am 62 and I think because of the traveling I do and the life I have, maybe it wouldn’t be fair for the child.”

Furnish accompanied John to the Ukraine. While Elton was speaking with reporters, David was holding a 14-month-old boy called Lev.

“But having seen Lev today, I would love to adopt him,” the star added. “I don’t know how we do that but he has stolen my heart. And he has stolen David’s heart and it would be wonderful if we can have a home.

“I’ve changed my mind today.”

John said the recent death of his friend, keyboardist Guy Babylon, had also made him change his views.

“What better opportunity to replace someone I lost than to replace him with someone I can give a future to,” he said.

Peter Andre Doesn’t Want Jordan’s Money

Peter Andre doesn’t want any money from ex-wife Katie Price.

The Behind Closed Doors singer — whose divorce from the glamor model will be finalized in six weeks — isn’t concerned about getting any cash from her, including the joint earnings they made when they were together.

“Peter insisted that he and Kate signed a pre-nuptial agreement,” a source close to Peter – who is legally entitled to half of the $24 million they earned as a couple and a portion of his ex-wife’s $46 million fortune — told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper. “It was simply because he never wanted to be accused of being in it for the money.

“And now they are divorced he is sticking to his word. Family, friends and love are the only things he has ever really cared about.”

Peter — who raises three children, Harvey, seven, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii with Katie — is also furious with the 31-year-old beauty’s plans to have a party to celebrate their divorce.

“I am not about to celebrate something that has broken my heart,” he said. “This marriage is not officially over for another six weeks and it is not something I’m happy about.

“The fact that she is throwing this party doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. It upsets me, though. I can only hope that she sees fit to do it when our three kids are not in the house as well.”

Nicolas Cage Sells English Mansion

Nicolas Cage has sold one of his homes to help renovate his castle.

The National Treasure actor received a reported $8 million for the six-bedroom property in Bath, South West England, after deciding to put it on the market because he didn’t spend enough time there.

He is now putting all the money into nearby Midford Castle, which he bought in 2007 for around $10 million.

The castle has been empty for two years and Cage is focused on completely renovating the historic property — built in 1775 — as he wants to make it his main UK home.

The 45-year-old star has submitted planning permission to Bath and North Somerset Council, saying the castle was in a poor condition and in need of repair to return it to its former “grandeur”.

Earlier this year, Cage put the rest of his property empire — including homes in the Bahamas, California, Nevada and Rhode Island — on the market.

In May, the star — who is married to former waitress Alice Kim, with who he has a three-year-old son Kal-El — sold his 11th century German castle after only spending one night there, despite spending millions and three years renovating it.

Adam Sandler: ‘Being Funny is a Curse’

Adam Sandler thinks his comedic talent is a curse.

The comic actor claims he can make people laugh without even trying, meaning he isn’t always taken seriously.

Referring to his Funny People co-star Jonah Hill, Adam said, “I was in England doing a TV show with Jonah and towards the end of the show I had to run to catch the plane.

“I yelled across this big studio full of people, ‘Jonah, I got to go buddy, I got my plane to catch. It was great seeing you, have a safe trip yourself.’ The whole studio laughed about it.

“Even though I told everybody I was serious they didn’t stop laughing. Sometimes I don’t know what I am doing, but people seem to think it’s funny.”

It appears Adam’s problem affects all aspects of his life.

The 42-year-old star is no longer taken seriously by his daughters — three-year-old Sadie Madison and 10-month-old Sunny Madeline — because he dresses up in princess outfits when he reads them fairytales.

“I often slip into costume as the lead character in whatever bedtime story I am reading,” he said.

“This is a little weird because my daughters love Disney princesses. But you would be surprised at how good I look in a ball gown.”

Miley Cyrus to Make Sex And The City Cameo?

Miley Cyrus is set to make a cameo appearance in the eagerly-awaited Sex and The City movie sequel, according to reports.

The Hannah Montana star, 16, is scheduled to film her part on Oct. 16, reports America’s Life & Style magazine.

“They’ve asked her,” says an insider. “But she hasn’t confirmed. Right now, they’re just holding the space for her.”

It was reported in August that the teen queen sees appearing alongside the show’s leading ladies — Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon — as a way of becoming a serious actress.

“Miley sees this as a transition from teen stardom to more adult roles,” dished a Hollywood insider.

“We’re all wondering how long it will take Kim to have Miley knocking back Cosmos and ogling all the men. Seriously though, all the girls are excited to have Miley on board.”

Sex and The City 2 is due out next May.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart ‘Taking Things Slow’

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won’t be getting married anytime soon — they’re taking their romance “slowly” as they get to know each other better, sources say.

Recent reports have claimed the young Hollywood stars were set to walk down the aisle after Pattinson, 23, proposed to 19-year-old Stewart on the Twilight set in Vancouver, Canada.

But insiders insist the pair aren’t even considering marriage — yet.

“Rob and Kristen really love each other — there’s incredible chemistry between them,” the source said. “But they’re taking things slowly.

“They haven’t even discussed marriage. They’ve not known each other that long and don’t want to rush into anything. But who knows? Maybe Rob will propose to Kristen in the future!”

It was recently reported that Rob has ditched his friends so he can spend more time with Kristen.

“Rob’s whole world is Kristen,” a source said. “I’m surprised he even knows his lines because he’s so absorbed with her.

“He has no time whatsoever for his guy friends and has cut virtually everyone off so he can spend every waking moment with Kristen. He’s all about his woman.”

Twilight insiders also recently denied reports Rob and Kristen had been told to hide their romance.

Awww! Baby Photos Rock the Web

Move over Anne Geddes — there's a new baby photographer in town. Tracy Raver was on the "Today" show Friday morning to talk about her unique way of photographing newborns. Searches on the shutterbug promptly shot through the roof.

The photos (many of which you can see in the video below) are of sleeping babies that seem to be posing for the camera. Raver explained that getting babies into cute poses is easier than one might think. A full belly and a warm room will do wonders for making a baby sleepy. And once those eyelids shut, it's pretty simple to pose the baby.

In the interview with Meredith Vieira, Raver said that she strives for photos that show babies curled up, as if they were in their mother's womb. In addition to taking photos for clients, Ms. Raver also instructs other photographers on how to keep babies asleep and calm enough to take photos. And while most babies respond to the same tricks, Raver explained that little girls tend to be feistier than boys.

As for the searches, it appears that the "Today" show interview will do wonders for Raver's business. Queries on her name and "tracy raver photography" both posted triple-digit gains.

We assume many parents will be inspired by the interview to photograph their own babies. Parents should act quickly — according to Raver, after the baby is a month old, it gets a lot more difficult.

You can watch the interview below.

Semenya withdraws from race amidst reports she's hermaphrodite

Caster Semenya, the 18-year old at the center of one of the biggest gender scandals in sports history, withdrew from a weekend race in South Africa amidst unconfirmed reports that her gender tests have revealed that she has both male and female sexual organs.

She was scheduled to compete in the 4,000 meters at the national cross country championships in Pretoria. Semenya's coach, Michael Seme, says his runner "isn't feeling well".

Yesterday, unsubstantiated reports from Australia and England said that Semenya's tests showed that she has no womb or ovaries and produces testosterone levels three times higher than a normal woman. The IAAF thinly denies the reports. (The organization's spokesman says he hasn't "seen" the results, which doesn't mean he hasn't "heard" the results. Nor has the IAAF come out and said that the reports are false.)

The Today Show aired a report on the Semenya situation this morning:

It's another chapter in an unfortunate story. It's easy to get caught up in the sensationalized aspects of Semenya's tale, but let's not forget that she's still just a teenager who is now the centerpiece of an embarrassing worldwide scandal. No matter how things progressed to this point (and we'll get to that later), Semenya is a victim in this story.

But let's operate under assumption that the tests were accurate and that Semenya is a hermaphrodite. If so, then there are three main questions that will need to be answered soon:

1) Will Semenya be stripped of her gold medal?

Probably. It's hard to imagine that the IAAF would allow Semenya to keep the gold after what these tests reveal. The rules explicitly state that a "gender verification" situation has to be approved and overseen by medical authorities. Semenya didn't do this. Fair or not, a rule is a rule.

2) Will Semenya ever be allowed to run again?

Reading the IAAF rules, it would appear that Semenya would be allowed to run if her condition was treated. Whether or not she would want to is anyone's guess. But there's also a chance she could be banned from running based on the answer to the next question.

3) Who knew about this and when did they know?

We haven't gotten this far down the road yet, but the next logical step in the progression of this sordid affair is whether there was a coverup involved. Regardless of whether the intentions of Semenya and her handlers were nefarious, they had to know of her ambiguous gender. Not having ovaries isn't something that goes unnoticed. If they did, then at what point did this turn from an unfortunate medical situation into outright deception?

If Semenya was an innocent running without knowledge of her condition, then there's not much the IAAF could do other than strip her medal and advise her on how to regain eligibility. But if it can be determined that she knew she was running illegally (which would be tough to prove, but I'm starting to get the feeling that people knew -- how else would other coaches have known to order gender tests?) then there could be heavy sanctions down the road.

These questions will be discussed in the coming weeks and will be the center of attention when the IAAF officially releases its findings in November. If you thought the tale of Caster Semenya was strange before, it's just getting started.
