No recession at Kuya’s house

Although ABS-CBN is implementing cost-cutting schemes brought about by recession, the network still retained the same budget for this season’s “Pinoy Big Brother Double Up” according to PBB Business Unit Head Lauren Dyogi yesterday at the press launch at Plaza Ibarra in Timog. PBB hosts Mariel Rodriguez, Bianca Gonzales and Toni Gonzaga also attended.

Lauren revealed the Big Brother’s house had undergone renovations to come up with a new configuration but the features of the new house are still the same as before. More than P10 million was allocated for its new European-style house painted green and yellow.

Forty lucky housemates out from 50,000 who auditioned from different parts of the country are set to enter the Big Brother’s house this Sunday. The opening to be aired live at 7:30pm in front of Kuya’s house which will finally reveal the new and exciting batch of housemates. Ex-housemates will come in full force to welcome the new members into the PBB family.
